Os objetivos deste trabalho foram avaliar a eficiência de controle de giberela em trigo pela aplicação de diferentes formulações de fungicidas. A cultivar de trigo utilizada nesse experimento foi BRS 208. O delineamento utilizado foi de blocos completos casualizados, com 4 repetições. Os fungicidas testados foram: Nativo (0,750L/ha)+Aureo (0,25%v/v), Fox (0,500L/ha)+Aureo(0,25%v/v), NTX(0,600L/ha)+Óleo NTX (0,700L/ha), Propiconazole Nortox (0,750 L/ha), Carbendazim Nortox (0,800L/ha), Mil FF0401/07(0,75L)+ Nimbus (0,5%v/v)RET II, Bendozol (1,000mL/ha), Mil FF0401/07(0,75L)+ Nimbus (0,5%v/v)RET II + Bendazol (1,000mL/ha), Bas 703 02F(0,300L/ha) + Assist (0,5L/ha), Bas 703 02F(0,350L/ha) + Assist (0,5L/ha) e Opera Ultra (0,750L/ha) + Assist (0,5L/ha). Não foram observadas diferenças significativas quanto à severidade da doença entre os tratamentos com fungicida e a testemunha. Este resultado mostra que não houve condições ambientais favoráveis ao desenvolvimento do fungo, uma vez que os dados meteorológicos da estação de cultivo do ano de 2013 (Figura 1) mostram que as condições de temperatura estiveram abaixo da media e os índices de precipitação pluvial foram baixos durante a fase de florescimento e polinização da cultura do trigo. Quanto aos resultados de rendimento de grãos e peso do hectolitro apresentados na Tabela 1, também não foram observadas diferenças significativas, uma vez que não houve severidade significativa da doença, para que esta pudesse interferir no rendimento e qualidade de grãos. Coastal ocean observing and modelling systems (coastal observatories), connected with regional and global ocean systems, improve the quality of information and forecasts for effective management of safe and sustainable maritime activities. The public availability of systematic and long-term information of the ocean is an engine for the Blue Economy, boosting economic growth, employment, and innovation. An overview of some Brazilian initiatives is presented in this paper, involving universities, private companies, federal and state agencies, covering institutions from south to north of Brazil. Although these initiatives focus mainly on ocean physics, integrated efforts can extend the scope to include biogeochemistry and marine biodiversity, helping to address interdisciplinary problems. Existing initiatives can be connected, and new ones fostered, to fill in the gaps of temporal and spatial coverage of ocean monitoring in the vast oceanic area under Brazilian jurisdiction (nationally referred to as the Blue Amazon, in reference to the similar richness of the Amazon Forest). The alignment among national and regional initiatives, as well as with international programmes, can be promoted if coordinated by a national-level organization, maximizing the return of public investment and socioeconomic benefits. In light of international examples, possible future institutional arrangements are discussed, leveraging from existing national public policies and international cooperation that Brazil is taking part. The United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development is a timely opportunity to encourage an institutional arrangement to support and articulate an integrated network of coastal observatories in Brazil.
